Boggus Ford Harlingen was sharp all around as customers gave the dealership thumbs up when it came down to the rubber meeting the road in car sales and service. And recently the auto group’s patriarch, Frank Boggus, walked into the dealership showroom proudly to receive the Ford President’s Award with his son, Bob Boggus, and grandson, Jacob Boggus.
They celebrated the recognition with the dealership’s employees.
“We are extremely proud to earn the award,” said Jacob Boggus, company business development and Internet sales director. “It’s an award that is not earned by every single dealership, and it takes a lot of commitment from every single team member.”
Ford Motor Company awarded Harlingen Boggus Ford the company’s most prestigious awards. Only 10 percent of more than 3,500 Ford dealerships across the country receive the award.
During the celebration, company president Bob Boggus thanked his employees, saying he was very proud of the team’s effort and encouraging them to focus on winning the award again.
Greg Quisenberry, Boggus Ford Harlingen’s chief operating officer, said everyone from the sales department all the way down to the services and parts department worked together to keep customers satisfied.
Chris Norton, Ford’s Houston region services manager, said Boggus Auto group is the epitome of what Ford Motor Company represents. The President’s Award recognizes dealers who achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction in both sales and service. Dealers who receive the award exceed customer expectations in every department and exhibit the passion, tenacity and hard work that results in a top-performing dealership.
The Boggus Auto Group is one of the few Ford dealerships in the country owned continuously by the same family. The Boggus family has been a pioneer in the automotive industry in the Rio Grande Valley for more than 80 years.
